Panther Golf Season Ends

The Whitman Hanson golf squad wrapped up their season today hosting the Marshfield Rams today, but lost 224-258 to end the season at 1-10 on the year.

Though the Panthers may not have been impressive in the win column this season, their senior captain Aidan Miller as nothing but! He finished his final round of his competitive high school golf career in the Panther uniform with a birdie putt, to end the day with a 2 over par 36. He is the clear team MVP this season and ended his career just as he started it - with class, poise respect from his peers. Aidan will surely be missed living forward, but has left a legacy of what it means to don the Panther polo.

Seniors Graham Stewart and Nic Daly also played in their final match after three year careers. Both displayed class and dedication themselves and should be proud of their performance as a member of the team.

Junior Par McBroom had another solid outing with his 6 over par 40 and freshman Blake Belcher made his varsity debut. Though there were certainly lots of strokes left out in the course today, the Panthers have lots to be proud of and can hopefully use that as momentum looking to next year.
