Season Officially Ends for Panthers

The Panthers officially ended their record breaking season today at Easton Country Club, as they fell shy of qualifying for the Division II State Tournament Round, which will be held next week.

Captain Sean Goldman made a great run at qualifying for the individuals, shooting a 7 over 78, missing the cut by a mere 1 stroke. Junior Mike Capellupo also had an impressive day falling 3 strokes behind the cut with an 80 on the day.

The team finished with an overall score of 338, which was about 30 points higher than the winning team. However, despite the loss, the team not only represented Whitman-Hanson proudly today, but all season long. Finishing the year with an overall record of 11-5 certainly makes a statement in itself.

Congratulations on a truly remarkable season!
