The 2012 Varsity Golf Team tryouts will be held this year at Ridder Farm Golf Course beginning on Thursday, August 23. They will continue on Friday and then Monday.
The times for tryouts are as follows:
Thursday - 12:00 pm
Friday - 12:00 pm
Monday - 2:00 pm
Because of the time restraints of the tee times, all candidates must be ready to go at 12:00 on Thursday and Friday, and 2:00 on Monday. I would recommend getting to the course a little earlier to loosen up, practice putting, or even utilizing the driving range (which you must pay for).
All candidates are expected to have their own clubs and equipment. Carts are not allowed during the season, therefore, they will not be allowed during tryouts. Every candidate will be given at least 27 holes of play before any cuts will be made. The number of cuts that will be made is going to depend on the number of candidates that show up for tryouts.
