Thursday's home match against Quincy was cancelled because of the expected weather. That match has been rescheduled for Monday, October 15th at Ridder.
Also, the Panthers are traveling to Martha's Vineyard on Monday, Columbus Day, to try and avenge their loss earlier in the season. The team will tee off around 1:30 at Martha's Vineyard Country Club - a win would even out their overall record, which would aid in their hopes to qualify for the state tournament; with only 7 matches remaining in the season, the team needs to win 4 of them to qualify.
Lastly, next weekend is homecoming weekend at Whitman-Hanson. During the football game on Saturday, October 13, all WH athletic teams will be represented with a table to promote their sport. The golf team will be raffling off a free round of golf at the Country Club of Halifax, along with some other prizes to be won. Please help support the team by entering the raffle, making a donation, or even just visiting their table.
