The WH golf team traveled to Martha's Vineyard today in hopes of clinching a berth in the state tournament qualifying round. Unfortunately, they lost 241-249 to fall to 8-9 on the season with only match left on their schedule.
Junior John Murphy lead the Panthers with a 4 over 39, and sophomore Matt Stanish continued to play well with a 5 over 40.
The team travels to the Country Club of Halifax on Wednesday to face Silver Lake to end their regular season. The need the win to finish at .500.
