WH Golf Loses to Hingham

The Panthers Golf Squad dropped a close match to the powerhouse Hingham Harbormen today at Ridder, 227-215. The loss drops the team to an even 1-1 record.

Hingham Junior Richard Miller made it near impossible for the Harbormen to lose, as he shot an unbelievable 5 under par, 29! Despite his incredible play, the Panthers fought hard and gave it their best. Sophomore Owen Manning was the low man today for the Panthers with a 2 over par, 36. Senior captain Luke Tamulevich and junior Anthony Palmacci both played to impress, each shooting 3 over par, 37. Junior Ryan Sawtelle helped cut the deficit with his 4 over par performance, and senior captain John Murphy continued his consistent solid play shooting a 5 over par, 39.

The team hopes to offset this match and get back on the winning side tomorrow as they play host to East Bridgewater in a non-league match.
