The Panther golf squad lost to the Duxbury Dragons 212-231 today in the home team's final match at Ridder Farm for the season.
Captain John Murphy had a memorable day for his final home match in the Panthers uniform, as he carded an even par 34. Sophomore Owen Manning also played well with his 3 over par performance, while co-captain Luke Tamulevich turned in a 4 over par 38. Though the Panthers played well as a team, they could match the unbelievable play of Duxbury, who shot 8 over as a team.
The team has their 18th and final match of the season on Tuesday, when they travel to Widow's Walk to take on Scituate. The Panther's record dropped to 10-7 after today's loss, but they are hopeful to end the regular season on a positive note and become only the third team to reach 11 wins in a season.
