Panthers Improve to 8-4

The WH golf team defeated the Quincy Presidents today 248-291 on the back 9 (par 36) at Ridder Farm Golf Club to improve to 8-4 overall on the season (7-3 in the league)

Sophomore Owen Manning was match medalist with a 1 over par 37. Senior captain Luke Tamulevich helped with the win with his 4 over par performance, while fellow captain John Murphy shot 5 over par. Juniors Nick Duffy and Ryan Sawtelle also played well, each with 7 over par performances.

It was good timing for the team to come together as they have a very tough road ahead of them. The Panthers only need one more win out of their remaining six matches to clinch a berth in the state tournament. They travel to South Shore Country Club to challenge Hingham tomorrow, followed by a trip to Plymouth Country Club against Plymouth North on Thursday. Good luck to the team!
