The Whitman Hanson Golf team defeated the Quincy Presidents 236-273 at Furnace Brook Golf Club today to improve to 4-5 on the season.
This was the team's best performance of the season, with three players shooting 4 over par or better. Senior Anthony Palmacci lead the way for all scores with his 3 over par, 37. Junior captain Owen Manning and sophomore Matt Korzec both played really well, each shooting a 4 over par, 38, while senior Nick Duffy and junior Ed Scriven helped contribute with 6 over par performances.
The team travels to Harmon Golf Club tomorrow to face Hanover, where they hope to repeat their impressive play from today.
