Panther Golf Improves to 5-4

The Panther Golf team improved their record to 5-6 overall today, as they defeated East Bridgewater in a non-league contest 35-19 in match-play style.

Jr captain Owen Manning was the star of the day, as he chipped in for eagle on the 5th hole to finish with an even par, 34 and defeat his man 6-3. His fellow captain, senior JP Drier, defeated his man 6.5-2-5 to help catapult the team forward, but it was the play of the 5th and 6th position players that really helped to make this a runaway: sophomore Matt Korzec won 7.5-1.5, while junior Ed Scriven won 8-1.

It was another team victory, especially in the match-play format, to keep the Panthers headed in the right direction.
