The Silver Lake Lakers delivered the first loss of the season to the Whitman Hanson Golf team today at the Country Club of Halifax 250-252.
Despite his continued impressive play by senior captain Owen Manning (2 over, 38) and junior standout Ian Brown, who shot a 3 over par, 39, the Panthers couldn't pull out the win. However, the Panthers are still siting poised at 4-1 overall (3-1 in the league) and head into the weekend with lots to work on and prepare for with next weeks heavy schedule.
The team hosts a young but very talented Plymouth South squad on Tuesday.
