WH Golf Loses to Hanover

The Panthers suffered their second loss of the season today as they were downed by the Hanover Indians at Harmon Golf Club 266-276. The defeat drops Whitman-Hanson's overall record to 5-2, 4-2 in the league.

Despite the harsh conditions in today's rescheduled and relocated match, senior captain Owen Manning continued to perform for the Panthers, as he lead the team with an 8 over par 43. Junior Matt Korzec followed that with a 9 over par, but maybe the most promising performance of the day came from freshman Pat McBroom, who shot a 10 over par in only his second match of his young career.

The team has tomorrow off, but will travel to the dreaded Widow's Walk in Scituate on Wednesday.
