The WH golf team hosted the Hanover Hawks today off the front nine at Ridder Farm Golf Course. The Hawks were victorious jumping to 2-0 on the season, dropping the Panthers to 0-3, with a 248-258 win.
Senior Captain Pat McBroom led all scorers again with his impressive 2 over par, 36, followed by fellow captain Matt Casarano, who turned in a 5 over par 41. Freshman Cooper Britton also continues to hang in the matches with his solid bogey golf round of 43.
This was the team's best overall performance, despite the loss, which helps to motivate them to continue to work. They travel to battle the league favorite Hingham Harbormen tomorrow at South Shore Country Club.
