After a much needed victory yesterday, the Panther Golf Squad welcomed the undefeated Hingham Harbormen to Ridder Farm for their tenth match of the season, where they fell 236-276 to drop to 1-9 on the season.
Junior captain Blake Belcher was the low man for the Panthers this day, but the depth and skill of the visitors was too much to overcome. Senior captain Harry Chase, along with junior DJ Tsiantoulas and sophomore Cooper Britton, all had matching scores around bogey golf, each struggling early on in their rounds, but played the last 4-5 holes in strong fashion.
The team will go into the weekend with a steep climb ahead of them next week, traveling to Duxbury on Monday, welcoming in Marshfield on Tuesday and heading back on the road to face the Harbormen one more time on Wednesday. Thursday's match against the Silver Lake Lakers will be home and also being designated at Senior Night, where the team hopes to get redemption from their first contest.
