The Panthers got the proverbial monkey off their backs today, earning their first victory on the season over North Quincy. WH also recorded their lowest team score on the season with their 256-281 win, putting them at 1-4 overall.
Seniors Cam Murray and captain Pat McBroom were the match medalists with their 7 over, 41 performances, but sophomore Blake Belcher contributed in a major way with his season low 8 over par day. Seniors Jack. Arron, captain Matt Casarano and freshman Cooper Britton tied for the third lowest score of the day with a 44.
North Quincy (0-4) had their bright spots as well, as Scott Gutro, Aidan Bridges, and Ian Ronan all played respectably, each carding a 45.
The Panthers will remain at home tomorrow as they welcome in Silver Lake in hopes of keeping their winning ways alive.
