WH Defeated by Silver Lake

The WH Panthers teed up against the Silver Lake Lakers today at the Country Club of Halifax in a Patriot League contest. The Panthers gave a good fight, but came up 7 strokes shy of the victory, suffering their second loss on the season 249-242.

All golfers battled aerated greens, but the Lakers made a few more key shots to walk away with the W. Sophomore Owen Manning led the Panthers with his low score, despite the difficult conditions, shooting a 4 over par, 40. Senior captain Luke Tamulevich wasn't far behind with his 5 over par performance, but it wasn't enough.

The close match leaves the Panthers with a 4-2 record overall, and 3-2 in the league. They play host to Plymouth South tomorrow where they hope to get back on the winning side, and travel to the dreaded Duxbury Yacht Club on Thursday.
