Miller Reps WH in Golf State Finals

Last Tuesday, junior Aidan Miller represented Whitman Hanson in the Division 2 State Finals for Boys Golf at the semi-private Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, MA.

There, Miller finished dead square in the middle of the pack with his 13 over par performance (2 over on the front and 9 over on the back), 84. Officially, he tied for 51st in a field of 102 golfers. Though his overall score and play may not have turned many heads, Miller enjoyed the experience of being the 6th golfer in the past 8 seasons to qualify for the season's final round.

As one of the golf team's top two players this past season, with the other graduating (Korzec), Miller is poised to take on the team's top spot in the Panther's lineup next season and is driven to repeat his appearance in next year's finals.

"Aidan had a great season. It was fun interact with him and watch him consistently elevate his play throughout the year. Needless to say, we are thrilled to have him back next year" said coach Brian Dempsey. "We are looking forward to seeing him lead the squad next season and hopefully have another impressive post-season run."
