The Whitman Hanson golf team dropped their final match in the battle of the Panthers as they took on Plymouth South at Atlantic Country Club on Wednesday, losing 267–294 to end the season at 2-14 overall.
Sophomore Cooper Britton tied for match medalist with his impressive 4 over par, 40. Junior Derek Olson finished his season in strong fashion with his best performance of the year, while seniors Devin Brodeur, Harry Carew, captain Harry Chase, Nic Manganiello, Thomas Murphy, and Matt Ward all finished their high school golf careers with class and style.
Although the team did not qualify for the state tournament, there were several personal victories had throughout the season that each player can carry with them for years to come.
