WH Golf Defeated by Hingham

It was cold, windy and wet at Ridder Farm Golf Club today as the WH Panthers played host to the first place Patriot League Hingham Harbormen.  The Panthers played well, but they were simply no match for the visitors, who won 244-266.

Captain Blake Belcher led his team with an impressive 3 over 39, and sophomore Cam "Seabass" Nehiley had some incredible recovery shots to finish with a 7 over, 43.  Junior Cooper Britton and senior Sam Carron also tied each other with an 8 over par day.  Freshman Mason Bergeron had his personal best on the back nine, which is notable, considering the difficult playing conditions.

Overall, it's never easy to take a loss, but the team played well enough to give them some confidence to head to President's Golf Course to face North Quincy tomorrow.
