The Panther golf squad had a memorable match against the Pembroke Titans, but unfortunately came up on the losing end of the 255-257 contest.
Senior Blake Belcher led all scorers with his 4 over par, 38, and junior Cooper Britton finished with a 6 over, 40. Despite consistent play from sophomore Kaden Serkiz (45) and another solid outing from freshmen Brendan Breheny (44) and Matt Miller (47), the Panthers came up just shy of logging their first win on the season.
Congrats to freshman Ben Tappa, who made his Panther debut, holding his own and making some great swings throughout the day.
The Panthers hope to rest up this weekend with a tall task ahead of them next week, playing in matches Monday-Thursday, beginning with the Patriot League leader, Hingham on Monday.
